- General
French researcher Patrice Seray, from CNEGU group, has provided some photographic materials and information on a number of cases. Monsieur Seray has published a number of valuable reports in the journal Les Mystères de l’Est describing some photographic cases. I also appreciate the tips contributed by the Italian Giorgio Abraini (from CISU organization), the amateur astronomer from Argentina Carlos Demaría, the Cuban (now residing in Spain) Carlos Fleites González, and the Spaniards José Luis Ramírez and Luis R. González (from Fundación Anomalía). - Italian photo events
An important quantitative jump has occurred when Maurizio Verga´s PHOTOCAT (an authoritative collection of photographic cases reported in Italy up to 1998) has been merged with the 202 FOTOCAT records known for the neighbor country. Our gratitude to Maurizio, who is a prominent Italian researcher from the CISU organization, for his contribution.

Ray Stanford, in addition to UFO researcher and writer, has taken numerous series of photos and films to anomalous phenomena since the early fifties.Ray is personally associated to 50+ such evidence-holding episodes, and he has been friendly cooperating with FOTOCAT Project with an intense documentation transfer. I personally know Ray since 1987, and with the occasion of his trip to Europe to deliver a lecture in the MUFON-CES UFO congress, held November 6, 2004 in Frankfurt (Germany), we decided to set up a meeting in the Munich area in November 7th and 8th. We had some very productive meetings aimed to review part of the immense visual material Ray has accumulated during all these years.

Part of the encounter was also shared by Dr Auguste Meessen (Belgium), by Illobrand Von Ludwiger (host German conference organization) and by some MUFON-CES colleagues. Illobrand has promised to help in the development of the Germany portion of FOTOCAT, to which purpose he was handed a listing with the present cases known for his nation.

On November 30, 2004 a few researchers set up an informal reunion to review an interesting UFO report that took place in the area of Tarrasa (Barcelona province, Spain) on the night of November 29 to 30, 1985, where many citizens, local police personnel, airborne pilots and radar operators from the Barcelona airport saw or detected a strange aerial phenomenon. A TV crew was sent to the sighting location, from where they were able to record a video of the unidentified luminosity. Ramón Álvarez, Jordi Ardanuy, Marti Flò, Manuel Borraz, Pedro León and myself met to discuss this UFO observation and the progress made in following-up some investigative lines, including the acquisition of a copy of the full, unedited video (TV3 station) by Pedro León.
